🔮 What Is Deep Insight
What are all those notes for, in the end?
How many notes are in your phone's notes app? A hundred? Five hundred? A thousand?
And here's a second question: when was the last time you revisited them?
Most people would pause for a moment.
Our generation is actually pretty good at recording. We record meetings, clip good articles, jot down ideas the moment they pop up. Like diligent squirrels, we carry every thought, every sound, every sight, one by one, into the tree hollow.
But the hollow keeps getting fuller, and we open it less and less.
Those notes lie inside, like letters we wrote to ourselves, never opened.
"Deep Insight" is the thing that helps you open those letters.
It's Not Another AI Summary
Plenty of notes apps have AI. They can summarize an article, answer questions about a note, translate, polish, expand for you.
All of these are useful. But what they work on is information.
inFin's "Deep Insight" works on something else — you yourself.
It doesn't generate, polish, or rewrite your notes. It does just one thing:
From the batch of notes you select, connecting them across formats and across situations, it helps you spot blind spots in your thinking, questions you keep repeating, and hidden patterns — producing an insight "tailored to you."
It doesn't care what that article said. It cares about —
- Why did you clip this?
- The fact that you drew three heavy underlines under that paragraph — what was that about?
- Between the hesitation you wrote two weeks ago and the certainty you wrote this week, what happened in between?
A single-note summary gives you content; a cross-note insight gives you yourself.
It's the Second Step in the Three Steps
We divide inFin's path into three:
| Step | What we're doing |
|---|---|
| Step 1: Capture everything | What you think, hear, and see should all be easy to note |
| Step 2: Help you internalize and grow | See yourself through your notes ← Deep Insight lives here |
| Step 3: Help you create output | Once you're clear on what you think, output follows naturally |
Recording is input. Insight is one of the ways we help you internalize and grow. Output is growth.
And "Deep Insight" is one of the ways we help you digest.
What It Works On, and What It Doesn't
| What it does | What it doesn't do |
|---|---|
| Connects across notes to find patterns | Summarize a single article |
| Points out blind spots and repeated questions | Polish, rewrite, or expand your notes |
| Tracks the arc of how your thinking changed | Draw conclusions or diagnose for you |
| Suggests the smallest next step | Make full plans or break down goals |
