What It Does

Why We Poured So Much Effort into the Offline Model
Because for many of the most important moments to record, the network is unstable.
Meeting rooms, classrooms, the corner of a café… we can't let the network become an obstacle to recording.
That's why the model runs on your device, not in the cloud. Disconnected, you can still record, still translate; once the network is back, sync happens intelligently.
Your train of thought shouldn't be cut off by a weak signal.
And more importantly: we want you to be able to record anytime, online or offline, with no time limit, whenever you feel like it.

How to Use It
- Open inFin and tap the record button to start;
- While recording, you can mark key moments, jot down ideas, and insert photos;
- Tap stop, and a replayable voice record is generated automatically;
- Want to hear a particular sentence? Tap the text to jump straight to that position;
- After that, it can also automatically extract a structured summary and a Mind Map from the voice content.

Q: Is there a recording time limit? No. The built-in Chinese-English offline speech recognition model is completely free, with no time limit, no count limit, no network required — unlimited use.
Q: Can I record when I'm offline? Yes. See When You're Offline.
Q: How much space will recordings take? Audio grows with actual length (about 7 MB per hour). We recommend exporting and archiving regularly.
Q: Can I record other people's speech? Yes, of course, but please follow local laws and respect the other person's wishes. inFin provides the recording capability; how you use it is your responsibility.
