⚖️ Two Rules and Boundaries
These two aren't listed under features, but they determine what "Deep Insight" looks like.
Rule One: Only What Truly Exists in Your Notes
Insight doesn't make things up, doesn't fabricate to "sound good."
It can only grow out of the content you've written. If it's not in your notes, it won't say it.
That means: the quality of insight depends on how much you've recorded, and how honest you've been.
That's why we put so much weight on Step 1 (capture everything). Without input, there is no insight.
Rule Two: Your Voice Always Comes Before the AI's
We always remember one thing: no matter how many features, they must not get in the way of recording itself.
In an insight, the AI's role is to reorganize and read back to you the things you've written — not to speak for you.
No matter how good an AI summary looks, it's only a shadow. A shadow must never cover the person.
What We Don't Do
| We don't | Notes |
|---|---|
| Diagnose | inFin is not a psychological assessment tool and gives no diagnostic conclusions |
| Label | We don't say "you're an anxious personality" — we only state what you wrote |
| Rewrite for you | Insight doesn't generate, polish, or rewrite your notes |
| Draw conclusions | It presents patterns; the judgment is yours |
| Make plans | "Action Guide" only gives the smallest next step, not a full plan |
The Mindset perspective uses Beck's cognitive therapy as a framework, but we only use it to identify thinking patterns, never to make any clinical judgment.
If You Need Professional Help
"Deep Insight" can help you see what you're thinking, but it can't replace professional support.
If the emotions that keep showing up in your notes are already affecting your daily life, please find a professional to talk to. This guide and this product are not the answer.
FAQ
Q: What if the insight is wrong?
That's normal. It might make you want to argue back — and that itself is useful information.
What it presents are patterns read from your notes, and you are free to disagree. The places you disagree are often exactly where you truly care.
Q: Will my notes be used to train models?
No. See Privacy Commitment.
Q: Can others see my insight results?
No. They belong only to you.
Q: Why don't you give me a score or a conclusion?
Because the moment a score is given, you'll chase the score instead of understanding yourself.
We don't score, we don't rank, we don't sum up "what kind of person you are." We just read back to you the sentence you wrote yourself.
Q: Can I delete a specific insight?
Yes. See Insight History & Export.
