Planned Direction

Ask AI is planned to let you "ask your notes in natural language":

• No need to remember keywords — ask like you'd ask a person;
• It answers based on the content of your notes;
• Supports Chinese questions, and cross-language as well.

The Difference from Search

Examples:

• Search: Hangzhou → all notes that mention Hangzhou;
• Ask AI: "The hotel I stayed at for a business trip meeting in Hangzhou" → tells you directly.

Current Availability

This feature has not launched, and there is currently no entry point in the app. You can use Search, AI Summary, and Mind Map in the meantime.

A Reminder: It Reads Your Notes

Ask AI can only answer things related to your notes.

If the answer isn't in your notes, it can't answer it — that's not a limitation of the model; it's the truth of recording.

So: the more completely you record, the more you can ask.

That's also why we put "capture everything" as the first of the three steps.
